Artichoke hearts garlic mashed potatoes
Who does not love mashed potatoes, right? BUT you can make them extra special and that is what I did here. Adding the garlic and the artichoke hearts adds some extra WOW to it. Sides can get sometimes boring so I like to switch them around and give them that little "twist".
You can serve this pretty much with all dishes. It's super easy and super fast!

Ingredients;
● 3 large potatoes (I usually get 1 large potato per person)
● 2 cloves of garlic
● ½ of a butter stick
● ½ of a cup of milk
● 5 pieces of artichoke hearts
● Salt
Mashed potatoes with artichoke hearts
● Cut up the potatoes into small pieces and put them in a pot
● Put enough water to cover the potatoes and add 1 teaspoon of salt
● Cook the potatoes until they are soft
● Drain all the water and add the potatoes back in the pot
● Add the butter, garlic and the cut up artichoke hearts to the potatoes
● Add in the milk as well and start mashing them until they are perfectly soft and mixed well together.
