Oyster Rockefeller

If you love oysters you must try this amazing baked oysters recipe. It’s super tasty, filling and full of flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 6 - 8 large oysters

  • 1/2 of a large purple onion

  • 1 bag of baby organic spinach

  • 1/2 of a bunch parsley

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • parmesan cheese

  • Marsala cooking wine

  • half and half cream

  • vegetable bouillon

  • italian or plain breadcrumbs

  • 1 medium size lemon

Instructions:

  • wash the oysters

  • open the oysters, please be very careful and if you have not done this before, watch some youtube videos

  • place the oysters on cookie sheet, on tinfoil

  • dice 1/2 of a purple onion - should be really fine

  • in a frying pan put 2 tablespoon of oil (prefer grape seed) and warm it up on medium heat then add the onions and sauté them until slightly brown

  • Add in your diced garlic, 1 tablespoon of bouillon, mix this together then add 1/2 of a cup marsala wine

  • Add in your spinach and sauté until the spinach is soft

  • add in your diced parsley and 1 squeezed lemon juice

  • sauté this for a few more minutes then add in 1/2 of a cup half and half

  • simmer this for about 5 minutes

  • as the last step add in 1/2 of a cup parmesan cheese

  • cook it for few more minutes and set it on the side

  • once it’s cooled down a bit put a generous amount of this sauce on top of each oyster

  • then sprinkle it with breadcrumbs and more parmesan cheese

  • heat up the oven to 375 degrees and place the oysters in the oven

  • Cook them until golden brown
