Steel-Cut Oatmeal with fresh berries

Sometimes it’s very difficult to decide for a very healthy breakfast option. This really is not just healthy but it is so good for you! This recipe will help maintain your cholesterol levels as well. What else can you ask for?

Ingredients:

  • Steel-cut oatmeal ( I got this from Trader Joe’s)

  • honey

  • flaxseed

  • cinnamon

  • rasberries

  • blueberries

Instructions:

  • put 1/2 of a cup of oatmeal with 1 cup of water and start cooking it on low heat while you are stirring it and it cooks to your taste

  • pour this to a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of honey and mix it with the oatmeal

  • sprinkle cinnamon all over on the top

  • sprinkle the flaxseed all over on the top

  • add your raspberries and blueberries on the top
